Inflite Engineering Services Limited (IES) and Aerospace Treatments Limited (AST) are the design, machining, fabrication, electrical loom manufacture, component repair and surface treatment divisions of the Inflite Group Ltd. Located at London Stansted Airport, Chelmsford and Manchester, they provide an advanced subcontract manufacturing service for the Aerospace and Defence Industries. The company was founded in 1983 and has developed progressively to become a prime supplier to the Aerospace market, with an annual turnover in excess of £45 million. The Divisions are based in comprehensive, new, purpose-built manufacturing facilities at Stansted and Chelmsford in Essex and in Manchester. The total surface area occupied by the Group exceeds 600,000 square feet, and is one of the largest privately owned facilities of its kind in the UK.The Group provides a wide-ranging subcontract service, which assumes total responsibility for the supply of components to customer's specification from tooling design, through procurement of raw material, machining and special processes to certification, finish, packing and despatch. Our capability means that we can produce 95% of any commitment in-house, a situation that distinguishes us from the majority of our competitors and allows us to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence.
