KLM UK Engineering Technical Training

Our Technical College has gained a worldwide reputation for its continuing high standards. Our type courses have full EASA Part 147 training approval and we also have full Part 147 approval for Part 66 Category A and B1 basic training. The College also holds ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for the Quality Management System, adopted to deliver and design training courses.

Along with our partner, London’s Kingston University, we offer a foundation degree in Aircraft Engineering.

In conjunction with its Consortium partners, Kingston University, has been accredited as the "Centre of Excellence in Aircraft Engineering Education and Training in Europe"
by the Institution of Transport Management

We offer unique training opportunities on commercial aircraft. Regularly updated course material and liaison between instructors and highly skilled engineers working on the various types of aircraft contributes significantly to the success rate of students on our courses.

Our professional and experienced instructors are approved by the Civil Aviation Authority under EASA Part 147 training. An independent Quality Assurance Training Standards Surveyor ensures that all the training and examination standards comply fully with the Approved Authority requirements.

We have dedicated, well equipped classrooms, together with student study areas, technical library, computing facilities and student rest area. Our facilities also include a purpose-built practical training centre, housing its very own hand skills workshop (mechanical and electrical). We also have a simulated hangar environment complete with a full size aircraft fuselage for hands on training.
