As inventor of the E lectronic J acking A nd L evelling (EJAL)-System, HYDRO offers fully automatic systems which enable customers to lift any wide- and narrow-body aircraft in less than 40 minutes. More than 100 EJAL systems have been sold worldwide. The system automatically controls the tripod jacks during lifting and lowering of the aircraft.

EJAL system consisting of: 

• One set of tripod jacks with electro-hydraulic pump and automatic safety lock-nuts 
• Inclination measurement system, either absolute by means of an aircraft fuselage mounted sensor or via jack stroke measurement
• Control desk

Tripod Jacks
With a capacity range of 2 to 200t (metric tons), HYDRO tripod jacksa are available either manually operated, air- or electrically-driven or even fully automated with automatic safety lock-nut, driving and steering options. HYDRO's line of tripod jacks covers all models of today's commercial and military aircraft.

Standard Features: 

• Hard chrome-plated/ nitrated cylinders and rams to guarantee a long and trouble-free life
• Low-friction seals for improved retraction
• Automatic safety by-pass valve to prevent from lifting a load greater than the jack's capacity
• Threaded rams with mechanical lock-nuts to prevent unintended lowering of the jack in case of a hydraulic failure
• Manual/ hand-operated pump for emergency operation
• Surface treatment : SKYDROL-resistant paint; all non-painted parts are surface treated (zinc-plated, salt-bath nitrated)
